Cheese Ball
The cheese ball is a food that goes back a couple of centuries. If you are interested in an incredibly amusing story of great historical interest regarding a mammoth cheese ball, click here. If you are not interested, fine, but your life will just that much less enriched. Think about it while you make this easy appetizer.
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
½ cup finely chopped walnuts, pecans or pistachios
1. Combine the cheeses well and form them into a ball.
2. Place the nuts on a pie plate. Roll the cheeseball in the nuts until it’s completely covered.
3. Chill the cheeseball until a half hour before serving time. Place the cheeseball on a platter and serve it with crackers, or throw at your no good husband.
Serves 8.

I always put a dash of Liquid Smoke in my cream cheese for flavor. It’s awesome.

i would give anything to watch you in your dainty little cardigan hemmed in seed pearls, roll a wad of cheese into a ball. please call me next time you’re making this recipe!
