In the unlikely event that you have not yet broken your New Year’s resolutions regarding calories, sugar, chocolate, dessert and general self-indulgence, now’s the time to do it. This recipe from Ina Garten makes it easy.
It’s angel food cake, so, no egg yolks or butter, which makes you feel slightly less like a loser in the will power department. You’re only eating flour, sugar and egg whites, after all. (Oh, right, and a little chocolate, but whatever.)
And if the sugar rush does not assuage your food guilt, remind yourself that last year your resolutions went out the window before the second week in January.
