I am officially in charge of baking the turkey for a large extended Italian family. This was bestowed upon me about twenty years ago when I was in my early 30’s. I led a coup and grabbed the gauntlent from my mother who cooks the hell out of all meats; she still insists turkey needs to be cooked for six hours. The first year I went overboard and marinated the turkey for three days; roasted and served. Turkey’s ought not taste carbonated. I regained their trust and have been doing a grand job ever since.

Jessica, you are a riot I love your humor. Your nails look fine but hey what do I know? Have a great Thanksgiving, say hi to Oliver! Woof! The recipe sounds easy to make. My favorite Thanksgiving dish is…..dressing! Rachel Ray has nothing on you by the way.

Thanks Lloyd! Oliver ate all the Brussels sprouts the other, behind my back. I’m thinking he’s got the Thanksgiving spirit, even as I curse at him.
